Amara and Daniel wanted a romantic garden wedding that felt light and natural, with the ceremony under the old oak and dinner on the terrace.

The ceremony and the reception were 200 metres apart, the venue gave us only three hours to set up, and the forecast showed a chance of rain.

  • Ceremony: A blush and ivory floral arch with garden roses and trailing greenery, and petals down a 20 metre aisle.
  • Reception: Twenty tables with linen runners, low florals and 300 candles, plus a sweetheart table under a draped canopy.
  • Plan B: A full indoor version was prepared for the barn, with the decision made at 10 AM on the day.

The rain held off. The arch was moved to the terrace during cocktail hour and became the backdrop for the first dance.
