Golden Anniversary Dinner

The Morris children wanted to surprise their parents with a dinner for their fiftieth wedding anniversary, styled in gold and ivory like the original wedding.

The family had only one photo of the 1974 wedding décor, and the private dining room was already booked until 5 PM.

• Story: We recreated the original colours and the shape of the 1974 centrepieces from the photo.
• Tables: Six tables with ivory linens, gold chargers, roses and tall candles.
• Memories: A photo wall with fifty years of family pictures framed by gold balloons.

Setup took 90 minutes. June said the room looked exactly like her wedding, only with more grandchildren.
